flew sorties over Europe

Arthur enlisted in the RCAF in 1942. He became an above average pilot and was posted to England. He flew 30 sorties over enemy territory. He was honourably discharged in 1945. In 1947, he flew as a commercial pilot. Unfortunately, in 1973 he was killed in a flying accident near Edmonton, Alberta.
